Can Data Elements Promote the High-Quality Development of China’s Economy?

In recent years, the digital economy, with data as key production factor, has developed rapidly and become driving force of China’s high-quality economic development. The relationship between factors development gradually a topic academic research. Based on panel 30 provincial-level regions in China from 2014–2021, this study first constructs proposed evaluation indexes, respectively, by using entropy weight method, empirically analyzes whether can promote regression models. results demonstrate following: (1) Data elements play an important role growth, they have engine for sustainable growth. (2) level stable growth rate obvious regional differences, showing pattern “strong east weak west, strong south north”. (3) degree influence different dimensions is inconsistent, greater coordinated development, green innovation while effect open not obvious. above findings provide reference scientific basis countries to formulate relevant policies fully release vitality
